Hexed.GG Championship Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT WILL NOT IMPROVE A PARTICIPANT'S CHANCE OF WINNING. THIS IS A SKILL-BASED COMPETITION. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
These Official Rules (the "Rules") govern the Hexed.GG Championship skill competition (the "Competition"), including its qualifying tournaments (each, a "Qualifier") and final championship tournament (the "Championship"). By registering for or participating in the Competition, each participant agrees to these Rules and to the Sponsor's reasonable, good-faith decisions regarding administration of the Competition.
1. Sponsor
The Competition is sponsored and administered by Hexbandit.io LLC, an Arizona limited liability company doing business as Hexed.GG ("Sponsor").
Email: support@hexbandit.io
2. Competition Period and Schedule
- Qualifier period: Begins April 25, 2026 at 11:30 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time and continues through the final scheduled Qualifier announced on Hexed.GG, which will occur before the Championship.
- Championship: December 5, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. U.S. Eastern Time.
Each Qualifier's schedule, registration deadline, check-in requirements, and start time will be displayed on its tournament page. Sponsor may add, remove, postpone, or reschedule Qualifiers for operational, technical, security, participation, or legal reasons. Material changes will be posted on Hexed.GG and, when reasonably practicable, emailed to affected registered participants.
Unless otherwise stated on the applicable tournament page, all times are U.S. Eastern Time and Sponsor's platform records are the official timekeeping records.
3. Eligibility
The Competition is open only to natural persons who:
- Are at least eighteen (18) years old and have reached the age of legal majority in their place of residence.
- Are legal residents of one of the fifty (50) United States, the District of Columbia, Canada excluding Quebec, a Member State of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Australia, or New Zealand.
- Are physically located in an eligible jurisdiction while participating.
- Have a valid Hexed.GG account in good standing with a verified email address.
- Can lawfully receive the prize and provide any reasonably requested identity, tax, and payment documentation.
- Are not subject to applicable U.S. sanctions or participating from a prohibited jurisdiction.
Sponsor may restrict eligibility where participation or prize payment would be unlawful or impracticable because of applicable law, sanctions, tax, or payment restrictions.
Employees, officers, managers, and contractors of Sponsor, and their immediate family or household members, may not win a prize. Void where prohibited or restricted.
4. Free Entry and How to Enter
Entry is free. No purchase, subscription, payment, wager, deposit, or other consideration is required to enter or win. Winners are determined through skill-based gameplay under the published tournament format. Paid Hexed.GG features do not improve eligibility, seeding, scoring, advancement, or the chance of winning.
To enter a Qualifier, an eligible participant must:
- Create or sign in to a Hexed.GG account.
- Register through the applicable Qualifier's tournament page before its posted deadline.
- Check in, if required, and play according to the posted schedule and format.
Entry limit: One (1) entry per person per Qualifier. A participant may enter multiple distinct Qualifiers unless the applicable tournament page states otherwise. Each person may use only one Hexed.GG account. Multiple accounts, account sharing, automated entries, and entries submitted through bots, scripts, agents, or other automated means are prohibited.
5. Tournament Structure and Advancement
Qualifiers
Each Qualifier's player count, game mode, round count, scoring, advancement rules, bot-fill setting, disconnect policy, and tiebreakers will be displayed on its tournament page before registration closes and are incorporated into these Rules.
The highest-finishing eligible human participant under the posted format is the "Qualifier Winner" and receives a Championship invitation. Bots are not eligible for prizes or Championship invitations.
Championship Invitations
The Championship is limited to seventy-two (72) eligible human participants. A participant who wins multiple Qualifiers earns only one seat. Invitations will be sent to the verified email address on the participant's account and must be accepted within seven (7) calendar days unless the invitation provides more time.
If more than seventy-two (72) eligible Qualifier Winners accept, seats will be awarded in this order: (1) most Qualifier wins, (2) highest cumulative Qualifier tournament points, and (3) earliest Qualifier win. Any remaining tie will be resolved through a skill-based playoff. Alternates will be invited in the same order.
Championship Format and Winner
The Championship format, scoring, seeding, advancement rules, bot-fill setting, disconnect policy, and tiebreakers will be displayed on the Championship tournament page and incorporated into these Rules. The eligible human participant who finishes first under that format is the Championship winner.
Disconnects, server errors, remakes, forfeits, and similar issues will be handled under the policy displayed on the applicable tournament page. Sponsor may review platform logs and correct an objective scoring, seeding, or technical error. Requests for review must be submitted to support@hexbandit.io within twenty-four (24) hours after the affected result is posted.
These Rules control eligibility, prizes, taxes, privacy, publicity, liability, and disputes. The applicable tournament page controls the event's disclosed schedule, format, scoring, advancement, bot-fill configuration, disconnect policy, and tiebreakers.
6. Prize
One (1) cash prize of $3,000 USD will be awarded to the eligible first-place Championship finisher. The prize is winner-take-all, non-transferable, and does not include travel, lodging, equipment, internet service, or other expenses.
Subject to verification and receipt of required documents, Sponsor will initiate payment within thirty (30) days after the winner completes the claim process using ACH, wire transfer, PayPal, or another supported method. Available methods may vary by country. Sponsor will pay its ordinary outbound fee; the winner is responsible for receiving-bank, intermediary-bank, currency-conversion, and optional expedited-payment fees.
7. Winner Notification, Verification, and Taxes
Email is the official notification method. Sponsor will notify the potential winner at the verified email address associated with the winner's account within seven (7) days after the Championship result becomes final. Other messages may be used as supplemental notice.
The potential winner must respond within fourteen (14) calendar days and may be required to provide proof of identity, age, residence, account ownership, tax status, and payout information, and to sign a reasonable eligibility declaration and liability release. The winner is subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Rules.
If the potential winner is ineligible, fails to respond, refuses required documentation, cannot lawfully receive payment, or is disqualified, the prize will be offered to the next-highest-finishing eligible Championship participant.
The winner is responsible for all applicable taxes. Sponsor may report or withhold amounts as required by law and may require Form W-9, Form W-8BEN, or other appropriate tax documentation. Sponsor does not provide tax advice.
8. Fair Play and Disqualification
Sponsor may disqualify a participant, void affected results, remove a participant from an event, or suspend an account when platform records or other reliable evidence show that the participant:
- Used unauthorized software, bots, macros, external assistance, or another unfair gameplay tool.
- Shared an account, used multiple accounts, impersonated another person, or allowed another person to play on their behalf.
- Colluded, fixed a result, transferred points, or otherwise manipulated standings or advancement.
- Exploited a bug or vulnerability instead of promptly reporting it.
- Intentionally disconnected, stalled, griefed, harassed, threatened, or materially disrupted the Competition.
- Submitted false information, tampered with the Competition, or violated these Rules or an incorporated tournament-specific rule.
A disqualified participant forfeits any affected invitation or prize.
9. Public Results and Publicity
Sponsor may publish participants' Hexed.GG usernames, standings, scores, bracket positions, game records, and match replays as part of operating, reporting, streaming, and promoting the Competition.
Except where prohibited by law, Sponsor may announce the verified winner using the winner's Hexed.GG username, first name and last initial, and country or U.S. state of residence. Sponsor will not use a participant's image, voice, full legal name, testimonial, or endorsement for advertising without separate authorization.
10. Release and Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, each participant releases Sponsor and its affiliates, officers, managers, employees, contractors, agents, and service providers from claims arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance and use of the prize, except for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or liability that cannot lawfully be waived.
Sponsor is not responsible for events outside its reasonable control, including internet outages, device failures, third-party service failures, cyberattacks, or platform interruptions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sponsor will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages arising from the Competition. Nothing in these Rules limits mandatory consumer rights or liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Governing Law and Disputes
Except where mandatory law provides otherwise, these Rules and the Competition are governed by Arizona law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Before filing a formal claim, the participant and Sponsor must attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute for thirty (30) days after written notice. Notices to Sponsor must be sent to support@hexbandit.io.
For U.S. participants, unresolved disputes will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration may occur remotely or in Maricopa County, Arizona. Jury trials and class or representative proceedings are waived to the extent permitted by law, but either party may bring an eligible individual claim in small-claims court.
Participants outside the United States retain any non-waivable right to bring claims in courts available under applicable consumer law, and the U.S. arbitration provision applies only to the extent enforceable.
12. Privacy
Personal information collected in connection with the Competition is handled as described in the Hexed.GG Privacy Policy, available at hexed.gg/privacy. Sponsor may process account, eligibility, identity, tax, payment, gameplay, integrity, and communications data as reasonably necessary to administer the Competition, prevent fraud and cheating, comply with law, resolve disputes, and pay the prize.
Participants may have additional rights under applicable privacy law, including the GDPR. Entering the Competition does not constitute consent to unrelated advertising or marketing.
13. Modification, Suspension, and Cancellation
Sponsor may modify, pause, reschedule, suspend, or cancel all or part of the Competition when reasonably necessary because of technical failure, security incident, fraud, cheating, insufficient participation, legal or regulatory requirements, sanctions or payment restrictions, natural disaster, or another circumstance outside Sponsor's reasonable control.
Sponsor will not use this section to avoid awarding a prize after a winner has been fairly determined. If the Competition cannot be completed, Sponsor will, when lawful and reasonably practicable, determine the winner through completed skill-based results or a rescheduled skill-based competition.
Material changes will be posted at hexed.gg/tournament-rules with an updated effective date and will not be applied retroactively to completed play unless required by law or necessary to correct fraud, cheating, or an objective error.
14. Contact
Questions, eligibility inquiries, integrity reports, and dispute notices should be sent to support@hexbandit.io.
