Spectator and observer access for creators
Hexed offers two live views for coverage. Spectate follows the public table. Observe is an approved open-hand view whose presence is shown to the players.

Choose Spectate or Observe before going live
A creator who selects Spectate receives the same public information as any other viewer. Open hands appear only after an explicit Observe join and a server-side role check.
Tell the table when coverage sees more
Observe mode displays the observer's presence to the players. If access is removed, the viewer is downgraded or disconnected according to the table's spectator policy.
Keep server-only information off the broadcast
Observe can reveal player resources, development cards, and steal results. It does not include development-deck order or other data reserved for the game server.
Request access for a specific event
Observer access is reviewed for specific coverage, not enabled as a general account preference. Include the event, channel, dates, and intended information view in your request.
Creator access questions
Do I need observer access to stream a game?
No. You can stream the public Spectate view without observer access.
Can players see that I am observing?
Yes. The table displays the presence of an approved open-hand observer.
Does Observe reveal the development-deck order?
No. Deck order remains on the game server and is not sent to spectator or observer views.
Use the least access the broadcast needs
Start with public Spectate. Request Observe only when open hands are necessary for a specific event or format.
